Hi! I am so glad you are here! I enjoy working with people of all ages on their mental health and life challenges. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental approach that builds on your strengths. I enjoy exploring and assisting clients with discovering new paths and new ways of thinking. I also enjoy revisiting old paths and old stories to help clients understand how the roads we have traveled have made us who we are and to make meaning that can help the client in the present. You are a unique person and you deserve a therapist who will use the best techniques from various theories to meet your needs and interests. I recognize that getting mental health care services can feel intimidating so I work with my clients to ensure you are comfortable and satisfied throughout the therapeutic process.
Why choose me to be your therapist?
In addition to my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling I have continued to pursue education and training to gain even more tools to help clients. This means I am able to access and utilize tools and strategies that all therapists learn in school plus many more! Check out the information below to see training I have that not all therapists have!

EMDR is used to process trauma of all shapes and sizes. EMDR can also be used to prepare you for future situations. Getting your head, (emotional) heart and body on the same page in ways that talk therapy cannot is what EMDR is about! EMDR is magic!

DNMS is the only tool for repairing childhood trauma caused by attachment trauma. Unsafe or unstable parental figures, parental substance abuse, abuse/neglect, parental separations and abandonment are a few examples of situations that can cause attachment trauma. Attachment trauma can lead to lifelong struggles with anxiety, depression, relationship problems and much more. I have seen so much healing using DNMS!
