Superbills for insurance companies I am not in network with

A superbill is when the client pays all therapy costs out of pocket.  The therapist provides a "superbill" to the client.  The client submits their superbill to their insurance company.  The insurance company decides what/if they will reimburse the client for services.  You would want to talk with your insurance company to find out what out of network reimbursement rates would be and what the superbill process is for your insurance company.  *Therapist will provide a superbill but clients are responsible for submitting them to their insurance.  Providing a superbill is a courtesy service, there is no guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you.

Most people don't know this but insurance companies can claim insurance fraud if a therapist doesn't charge self pay clients and insurance clients the same rate.  Insurance companies say that if the self pay rate is $50 a session they should only have to pay $50 a session.  Due to these requirements, self pay rates are the same as insurance reimbursement rates.

Self Pay rates:

Intake Session: $138

60 minute therapy session: $119

45 minute therapy session: $75

30 minute therapy session: $55

If you do not have insurance and can prove financial hardship through Open Path, you may qualify for a reduced rate.  There are a limited number of Open Path clients that I serve.  If you are going to apply for services through Open Path, please email me so I can adjust my account to accepting new clients.
